9x12 Ink Printmaking

My idea for my printmaking sketch was something simple like the flower, i didn't want something super complicated but I still wanted it to look good. I wanted to make this cute and simple. to do that, i found some art on pintrest and shifted it to fit my style a little more. To do the printmaking, I traced my drawing into styrofoam with a black ball point pen. Then, i traced the indents in the styrofoam with my pen again to make the lines dark. After that i rolled ink onto my paper and pressed it onto a colored piece of paper. To me this artwork symbolizes creativity because of the way i made each print their own.  The most difficult process for me was trying not to mess up the prints.
