Photoshop
My source was my imagination because I was called Tinkerbell as a child and have always loved Tinkerbell and peter pan. My process was first deciding what I wanted to do and I chose it. Then we had to draw it out as best as we could and scan it. We then had to download it, trace our drawing, color it and add details, it also had to be 30 layers. A problem I faced is when I didn’t save it and had to restart tracing and when I saved it but decided to erase something but couldn’t so I covered it in detail. Something new i learned is how to use photoshop and how to add texture and fun prints to it. I like how the shape of the heads turned out and how the stars in the background turned out, especially when i put stars in the letters. I would change the background colors and how i blended the colors in the heads.

Clay, Glaze
My inspiration was my love for baking and how I want to become a pastry chef. My process was first deciding what to do, I wanted to make a really cool cookie jar but then I changed my mind and made a cupcake. I then had to make to different pots, the first pot I made coils and did a coil pot I had to smooth out the coils, which took a while. I made a little cherry for the top of the cupcake. I then had to make a pinch pot that would be big enough to act as a lid and would stay on and not fall off or move around a lot, I also had to smooth that out. On the bottom piece, I had to make divets in it to make it look like a wrapper and i had to make a cherry to put on the top. It was then fired in the kiln I then glazed it with 6 different glaze colors some had glass pieces which would make it be speckled colors. A challenge I faced was when the coils I had for my pot got really dry, i solved it by just starting over and making new coils. A creative risk i took was when i changed my whole idea and changed it to a cupcake instead of a cookie jar because if i messed to bad I would have had to start all over. What I like most are the frosting part with the cherry I feel like if I didn’t have it it would be bland. If I started over I would change the bottom of my clay because it seems too small for the top and it didn’t turn out as I thought it would
