"The Hidden Truth"

Paint, Plaster, Zipper.
My inspiration is the people who like the same gender as they are and how they have to hide who they are or who they want to be because their afraid of being judged for who they want to be. My first step was to actually create the mask by putting 3 layers of plaster on a plastic mold. After all the plaster dried I painted the rainbow one color at a time so the colors didnt mix together making a gross color. When the rainbow dried I painted the black, then when the paint dried i hot glued the zipper track on then i glued the actuall zipper on to the zipper track. I problemed solved when the zipper came off of the track because I tried to zip it shut, so I glued the zipper track onto the mask then glued the zipper on the track. The creative risk i took was the zipper because if i put it in the wrong spot or did something wrong it could of srewed up the whole mask or the design of my mask. What I like most about my work is how the zipper looks good on the rainbow part because they both contrast each other its like light and dark. What I would change is the rainbow part because i would like to blend the colors together so they look like a rainbow ombre.

Paper,Graphite
My source of inspiration is the school hallway by Mr. berts room because math is my favorite class, Mr. bert is my favorite teacher and he’s funny. My process was to first figure out what i wanted to draw and i thought i wanted something to represent my school. So then i started sketching and i eventually after a long long time of figuring out the decoraions in the hallway i got it. Then i shaded where the light would hit things like the floor. The poblem i faced was figuring out how to do the math dorrframes and the outside doorframe. I fixed this problem by really studying the doorframes and i eventually got it. The creative risk is probably drawing the outside doorframe because it could of ended badly if i did something wrong. What I like most is probably mr.berts room because i took so long to draw it and its so good. I would probably change the room because i would of wanted a more memorable room

Clay, Glaze.
My inspiration was my imagination but also I got it from spongebob because i like spongebob. My process was first deciding what I wanted to do, then I rolled out a clay slab and textuerized the clay and I cut out the small little details like the mustache and the eyes. Then i score and sliped which kept the peices on the slab. Then it was air dried, then I glazed it with 3 coats of glaze then it was fired in the kiln. The Problem I faced was probably trying to get the glaze into the little crevases, so I solved that by using a really small paintbrush. I learned about glazing I just thought you used paint. What I like most is the yellow corners where it looks like spongebob, it has a cool texture. if i could change anything i would probably change the shape or my whole design.
