Solutions of “Not Found” messages appearing in Webmail

Note: It is because the cache of the old mail system is still temporarily stored in the browser if the “Not Found” message appears when connecting to Web-mail. The solution is to clear the web cache of the browser to display the latest webpage content. The following demonstrates the steps of clearing the web cache in Google Chrome.

  1. “Not Found” message appears as shown below when login to Web-mail.

2. Press the button “F12” to open "Developer Tools", a field will appear on the right as shown below.

3. Right click on the reload button, a drop-down menu appears as shown below.

4. Click “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”.

5. Re-enter http://mail.ncku.edu.tw/, and delete cgi-bin/owmmdir2/openwebmail.pl behind the URL to display the page normally.
