Job Description:

CNC Programmer

• 1st shift, 5 days a week, 5:30 am-2:00 pm, Monday – Friday

• Lunch: 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM

Position Summary:

In Bethlehem, PA, a valve manufacturing company is seeking a CNC Programmer. The CNC Programmer is responsible for overseeing the daily functions of manufacturing machinery. Duties include running tests before the start of operations, programming and monitoring machines when assembling products, and inspecting machinery at the end of a shift to identify parts needing repair. This CNC Programmer will be working with a company that has a registered ISO-9001 quality system.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Set up and program the computer responsible for the machinery

• Inspect the machinery and product for quality assurance

• Perform daily maintenance on the machinery

• Handle materials appropriately and safely

• Familiar with various precision gauges for inspection of parts machined

• Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly

• Ability to analyze the information provided on blueprints or other explanatory documents to make sure the final product matches the draft

• Strong math skills for inputting specific dimensions and figures into the CNC machinery

• Understanding of how the machines work to maintain the machinery for which they are responsible and ensure they function properly

• Problem-solving skills in order to detect issues in the creation process and find solutions to ensure the machinery creates the product provided in the draft

• Strong commitment to Safety and Teamwork

Compensation:

Commensurate with experience, with consideration for all reasonable experience levels. A robust Healthcare plan and 401K are offered after a vesting period. Summer Position (May/June - August 2022)

M/F, 7/8 AM start, 40 hours per week

$18 - $20.33

• Work with a partner to deliver, set up, move, and exchange vending equipment in customer accounts and other outlets.

• Load and unload vending machines for delivery and/or return. Properly operate cooler equipment, such as stair climbers. to load and unload vending machines for delivery and/or return.

• Set coolers, which may involve setting shelves, temperature, and checking refrigeration.

• Assist with setting up special events such as Musikfest.

• Communicates with customers and supervisors regarding delivery and pick-up status.

• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School or GED (General Education Diploma) required.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record with no major violations; CDL Class B license preferred.

• Excellent customer service skills and good communication skills. Good mathematical skills.

• Must have the ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

• Must be able to safely move or handle extreme weights.

• Quick learner/willingness to learn other job skills related to the Service Department.

• General knowledge of the franchise area is helpful.

• Prior forklift experience preferred.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
