What is the Pre-ACT?
The Pre-ACT is a multiple-choice test designed to prepare 10th grade students for the company's college-entrance exam, the ACT. At one hour and 55 minutes or less, the Pre-ACT is an hour shorter than the ACT college-entrance exam without the writing portion. Results predict future success on the ACT test, and provide both current achievement and projected future ACT test scores.
All NC Public School students in 10th grade take the Pre-ACT for free in the fall.Â
