Changing the tool number manually

Over Travel Alarms

If the gantry or spindle moves too far in any one direction, it may trigger an over travel alarm.  The machine will hit a limit switch which will halt the movement before the machine moves too far and damages itself.  In that case the alarm message "[Axis] over positive/negative travel range".  In the event that this message has appeared:

1. Go to the [MAIN] screen

2. Click the [OVER TRAVEL] button

   • This will allow you to manually move the gantry

3. Move the gantry back to the normal operating range with either the soft buttons in the [JOG] mode or the pendant in [MPG] mode.

4. It is a good idea to home the machine after limit switches are hit.

Switch back to IN from MM

If the Laguna is showing dimensions in mm instead of inches, you can switch to inches by hitting: 

1. F5 

2. F5 

3. Switch the top line to "1".   (0= mm, 1= inches)
