The following tutorial will outline the steps needed to run a job on the Laguna CNC Router
Power on the Laguna CNC
Load your program onto the Syntec controller via a Network Computer or USB
Select your program to run
Select [AUTO] from the top ribbon
Click [<<] in the bottom left until the options stop changing
Select [F2 PROGRAM]
Select [F8 FILE MANAGER]
Navigate to your file and double-click it. The G-Code will then appear
Review your code:
Make sure the material size matches your physical material
Make sure the Tool numbers in the file match the tools that are in the tool holders, if not load the appropriate tools into T7 and T8
Scroll through your code and make sure that Z is never below -0.01 (Or to whatever you set your cut-through depth)
If everything looks good, take note of the Tools used in your file and select [F1 EXECUTE]
Touch of the tools used in your program
Set the first tool in your program to touch off last (this will just save you a little time when the program is running), alternatively, you can set the smallest tool to touch off last (this can help with setting a more accurate origin)
Remember to turn Auto Tool off
Fixture your material, make sure to fixture it in the same orientation relative to x-y as you did in VCarve
Set your material home
Once everything is set, select [MAIN] then turn on the Vacuum Pump and Dust collector (via the remote attached to the Syntec Controller
Select the [AUTO] button at the top
Select [F4 MONITOR], You should then see your program name in the bottom left box and your program render in the bottom right box
Review that all steps are complete then hit [Cycle Start]
Stay near your job until it is complete be ready to hit E-Stop in case anything unplanned occurs
Review your G-Code to ensure everything was exported correctly from VCarve
Utilize [MONITOR] to easily see all the most important information about your job before you start and while it cuts
