MOVING PROGRAMS TO THE CONTROLLER VIA USB
Files can be loaded onto the Syntec controller directly via USB. Once a program has been posted to a .nc file and saved to a USB it can be brought into the woodshop and the following steps can be followed to load the file into the machine controller:
Insert the USB into the port of the front of the machine controller labeled "USB"
Click [AUTO] along the top panel
Select [F2 PROGRAM] along the bottom panel
Click [F8 FILE MANAGER]
Select [F4 FILE TRANSFER]
Click [F1 FILE IMPORT]
On the left File Browser window your USB Directory should appear, navigate to the file you wish to import and click the checkbox next to it
On the right File Browser window navigate to the NcTemp
Note that the NcTemp Folder will be cleared periodically so it is recommended that you save a copy of your .nc code on your computer
Finally, select [F1 COPY] to copy the selected .nc file into the NcTemp directory of the Syntec controller
This shared folder on the CNC contains several folders of programs. Think[box] users should only copy their programs into the 'NcTemp' folder. This folder will be cleaned out regularly, so users should always save personal copies of programs if they wish to keep them.
The USB port is located on the front of the controller. Think[box] has USBs available for use while at think[box]
Navigate to [F1 FILE IMPORT]
Choose your file to import
