Consider applying to RYLA Leadership Camp
Are you interested in attending an intensive FREE 3 day advanced leadership development camp for high school juniors in the San Diego and Imperial counties area? Consider applying to RYLA in February of your Junior year! It is an all expense paid conference in southern CA, held in April. 2026 dates have already been released and RYLA will be held April 10-12, 2026! Students will connect with other leaders in the community, learn strategies to become an even more dynamic leader and have fun creating lasting friendships. Acceptance to this conference looks great on your college applications!
The application for the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards conference, also known as RYLA, will be advertised and made available to high school juniors in or around January/February. Students are expected to complete an online application on the RYLA website, complete a RYLA questionnaire specific to CHS and turn in both forms by the posted CHS deadline. After review, the RYLA committee will interview potential candidates to determine who will be selected to attend. SPACE IS LIMITED. If you have any questions about the program you can visit the local RYLA website, www.ryla5340.org, or you can email or visit Mrs. Howard in the counseling office.
