Getting Level 2 Credit

Now you get to put your new knowledge to use. To complete the requirements for this module you will need to do the following:

  1. Create an instructional video using Screencast-O-Matic
    1. You may choose any subject or content that you will be able to use in a class next school year
    2. The video must be between 5 & 10 minutes in length
    3. Part of the video must be a screen recording from your work station or your Chromebook
      1. Video from a different device is not required, but may be used.
    4. Your voice must be on the video
    5. You must place a link to the completed video on this assignment and turn it in.
      1. You may need to click the button at the top of this page, SUBMIT ASSIGNMENT, to see the URL submission area.

Hints to help you succeed

    • If you want to download the full version to your workstation you may
  • You will need a microphone to complete the assignment
    • If you have one on a headset you are ready to work on whatever device you want to use.
    • If you do not have one personally or in your classroom you have 2 options:
      • Borrow one from someone who has one
      • Use your Chromebook or a laptop that has an integrated mic
    • The DTC can set you up so that your Audio Enhancement or Light Speed sound system mic will work to record on your work station.   • Use content you are familiar with. it will be easier to remember what you need to say if you have done it before.
  • You may use any of the editing tools available to you, but we are only looking for simple evidence that you can create a video that works.
  • Make as many recordings as you want and send us the one you like best.
