Building a classroom or department website is often on the to-do list of many teachers. It is also one of the many things on that list that just never seem to happen. That usually stems from a few obstacles being in the way of accomplishing it. Those may start with the obvious time limitations for any fully engaged teacher, through the inevitable "I don't know how to build one" thinking all the way to the not knowing what to put on one problem. The goal of this module is to minimize, if not eliminate, some of those issues.
There are a few steps that everyone who has a functioning website has gone through. It becomes fairly easy to identify websites that which were built without the builder going through these steps. This module will guide you through the basics so you will be able to create and publish a valuable resource for your classroom, or help you see that it is not really going to be a valuable thing for you to spend your limited time on.
