Critical to a website that is easy to use is good structure. You have probably visited a website that is hard to use or easy to get lost in. You don't want to send students or parents to that type of site. It is really important to spend some time developing a structure that makes navigating your site as easy and intuitive as possible. Hopefully you found the Web Help document useful in working through some of those details. Now you will need to really do it.
As you build your structure it might be a good idea to create all of your pages in the correct relationship to each other before you start adding too much content. Site structure can be thought of as an outline or bullet list. In fact Sites uses this format when you create pages. You will have pages, and sub-pages. Think of them as parents and children in a family tree. You will build your structure with sub-pages being related to pages. Look at the following examples of possible structures, then watch the video tutorial and get started.
