Canton Mastery Project

Dr. Kidwell, Ms. Moberly, Mr. Riley (Science Department), Mrs. Jorgensen (Science Department) will all teach a section of the brand new Canton Mastery Project Course. This is not an English class or a science class, but an overall high school graduation requirement for CHS seniors. Students will design and implement a semester-long project on an area of interest of their choice. They will work independently, but with the guiding help of their teacher and mentor, to stretch their critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and community engagement skills. They will present their final products to a formal audience.

August 2018: Students are reflecting on their innovative and collaborative styles using IDEO's 10 Faces of Innovation. They've created FlipGrid videos to explain which "face" best fits! Check out more about what a Capstone Project really is with this video!
