We will use a hard copy of the pictures as they are easier to draw on but you can use the link if you lose your copy.
For each pattern, draw the next shape. How does each shape change - do the number of lines increase? Are there more matchsticks?
Draw a table for each pattern
Use your table to make a rule.
By the end of the lesson we should be able to write a formal rule.
Complete the Google form by Monday 20th August

If you have completed all of the above, keep working on the quad design as instructed by Mr King. Don't forget you need to add a linear pattern of some form - this may be paving stones, lines drawn using a rule, a sequence that can be described mathematically.
