I was not present in some rehearsals, as I had a family emergency.
I was not present in either of these logs, however I can try my best to log these rehearsals
Me not being present has caused an impact, as I had less time to come up with any ideas which effected the band, along me.
The primary focus was to focus on the structure and the form of anomia. I did not have a primary focus for these logs as I was not here, however if I was I would've definitely focused on the use of effects and how I could add to the song.
At 1:06 you can see how much my absence actually affected the song, as there is plenty of space left in the choruses, resulting in the chrouses sounding quite empty and not impactful at all.
Moving forward, I will be present in the future and attend further rehearsals. as it is not only affecting me, it is also affecting the band.
This rehearsal was solid in terms of getting structure down and finalising form, however the key elements of shoegaze are definitely missing which is something to work on for next time.
This is a video log explaining of what I did, and how I did it. The chords i used were:
E6
B6sus2
Gbsus2
This was just simply following on from what igor was playing, but it provided a nice wash which added to the song quite alot.
This video tells me exactly on how to use and implement reverb in my work. I can use this video to improve Anomia, like using hall reverb for example. Hall reverb is a digital reverb used to recreate the sound of an instrument in an echo-y space. This would suit Anomia very well and I will definitely implement this in my work.
In this video log I go into depth about the effects I have used, and also what I could possibly work on in the future, especially the tones.
Unfortunately, I was not present when anomia first came around, especially in this log. In that case the band worked on creating a solid base for me to come back to. This log demonstrated exactly what the actual form and build is like before it is drowned out in different effects.
