For one enchanting evening, the library will transform into a mysterious forest inspired by the timeless tales of the Brothers Grimm. Guests will encounter familiar stories with unexpected twists as they explore an immersive setting filled with magical details, dramatic décor, and the spirit of the woods.

The evening will feature charcuterie, signature cocktails, entertainment, dancing, and an atmosphere designed to transport guests into a world where every path leads to discovery. Guests are encouraged to attend in costume or cocktail attire and prepare for an evening unlike any other.

While Into the Woods: A Grimm Affair promises an unforgettable night, the gala’s purpose extends far beyond the evening itself. Proceeds from the event support the Cabell County Public Library and its mission to provide access to information, education, technology, and opportunities for personal and professional growth throughout the community.

In 2025, the Cabell County Public Library circulated more than 540,000 items, welcomed more than 263,000 visitors, and connected nearly 97,000 children, teens, and adults with library programs and events. Gala sponsorships and ticket purchases help the library continue providing these vital services to residents of all ages and backgrounds.

Individual and couple tickets will be available for purchase, and sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses and organizations interested in supporting the event and the library’s mission. Sponsors will have opportunities for recognition and visibility among community leaders, business professionals, library supporters, and guests from throughout the region.
