REFERENCE & LOCAL HISTORY

The Reference Department at the Cabell County Public Library is committed to promptly and courteously providing library materials and information to local residents. We support our community’s personal, professional, and educational needs through a range of services.

Printing

Black and White: $0.15 per page (First page is free)
Black and White (Mingo County): $0.25 per page
Color (Availability varies by location): $0.50 per page

Copying

Photocopies: $0.15 per page
Color Photocopies (Availability varies by location): $0.50 per page
Microfilm Reader Printer: $0.15 per page
1GB Flash Drive: $5.00

Faxing

Sending: $1.00 for the first page, $0.50 for each additional page
Receiving: $0.25 per page

Notary Services
Free notary service is available during regular business hours at the Reference Desk on the second floor of the Cabell County Public Library. Please contact individual branches for specific times and availability. Photo identification is required. Do not sign the document until you are in front of a notary.

Computer/Wi-Fi Access

Library computers are available to anyone with a current library card.
Chromebooks are available with a current library card or a photo ID.
Free Wi-Fi is available at all branches with no restrictions.

James E. Casto Local History Room

Located in a quiet corner on the second floor of the library's main branch, the James E. Casto Local History Room serves as a valuable repository of the region’s rich history, dating back to the first settlers of the Ohio Valley.
