The Cabell County Public Library's Youth Services Department offers a wealth of resources to support your child’s learning and development at every stage. Our carefully curated children’s collection provides a safe and age-appropriate way for young readers to explore the world.
Our knowledgeable staff offers a variety of engaging programs, including music activities, seasonal crafts, story hours, and Montessori-inspired play, ensuring that local children have access to enriching educational experiences.
In addition to our daily programming, we participate in the national Collaborative Summer Reading Program, which encourages children to maintain their reading goals while school is out. This program also includes a variety of reading-themed games and activities, giving participants the chance to win exciting prizes.
Our annual events include the Princess Tea Party and Battle of the Books, both of which provide children with the opportunity to celebrate their favorite characters and showcase their reading knowledge in a fun and engaging way.
Additionally, we offer both public and private story hours for local schools and daycares in the region. For more information, please contact Angela Arthur.
