Our intermediate orchestra, Philharmonic Orchestra (ORCH 2) is for advanced freshmen and Fairview students who have successfully completed Orch 1 (Concert Orchestra).

Current Orch 1 students who receive an A or B in the class are eligible for this orchestra without audition.
Incoming freshmen must audition to be eligible for this orchestra.
About 50% of students are enrolled in private lessons in this orchestra.
Our focus isÂ
Students participate in four concerts per year, a small ensemble project, as well as performance at CASTA Regionals.
Students are also eligible for a day field trip in-state field trip every year as well as out-of-state field trips every four years.
