December 10-12, 2026
ThesCon is traditionally held the first or second weekend in December, depending on city and facilities availability.
Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado and surrounding hotels
A weekend filled with active theatre workshops designed especially for high school students. Students and chaperones self select events to attend during the nine workshop and Individual Event/Thespys sessions (pre-registration is required for IE performance opportunities – additional fees apply). High School Theatre in Colorado supports the fifth largest economic industry in the state, the creative sector.
WHO
All public, private, and charter high schools in Colorado and Utah are invited to attend. We encourage new schools to join us and share the excitement of high school theatre. Schools do not need to have an official Thespian troupe to attend.
*Requirements for attending:
In order to attend ThesCon, students must be actively involved in the theater program at Boulder High through being a part of a production as cast or crew or having taken a theater class at BHS. Incoming freshman can attend, but should talk with a theater sponsor before submitting the permission slips.
HOW TO SIGN UP:
Complete the permission slips below and turn them in to Ms. Armbruster's mailbox in the main office.
Pay the fee on Revtrak.
Look for an email inviting you to a ThesCon meeting.
