Students will understand they can advocate for themselves by making a specific plan and being prepared when stating their case.

Take some notes for your project proposal - just a rough overview of what problem you are addressing and how your project will address the need
You can type here or print this document to handwrite your notes
You will present your project proposal to the Service Learning Coordinator (Nancy), your advisor, and one other staff member or student (three-person audience minimum)
Prep first by running through your presentation so you know what you're going to say and have any resources that will help you make your case
Print an evaluation form for each evaluator
If your project was not approved, present a second time after having made adjustments.
