Introduce
Participate daily in Name Tag activity & Circle Up:
Participate in daily Mindfulness. We will practice and learn new techniques on the practice and benefits of mindfulness. In many cases we will be asking you to practice mindfulness outside of CCHS. What is mindfulness?
Participate in daily note taking of CCHS expectations and norms. If there are notes on the board then they should be in your notebook. If you missed notes please ask a peer, borrow Natalie’s notebook, or use the packet of notes. Notes will be given on:
6P’s (prompt, polite, prepared, PMA, participate, produce) what they mean at CCHS and beyond
Effective groups (Individual, Competitive, & Group team skills)
Synergy
Participate in discussion on Problem Solving - how do you know you have a problem? What is the difference between a problem and a conflict?

Participate in activities: (All activities are structured to be played in-person to create team building and cohort trust. If you miss an activity please contact Natalie for ways to re-create and make up this activity)

Problem Solving (large group exercise): Share in a large group your problem (selected at random in class) and use the five step problem solving method (handout) to determine an appropriate solution.
Problem Solving (small group exercise): Scenarios in dyads or small groups with worksheet & specific problem scenario given to your group by Natalie. Worksheet will be turned in for points.
Create
Complete Problem Solving practice worksheet. Complete the worksheet using the five step problem solving method specific to your groups problem (given to you in advance). Please use complete sentences. Each group member must have a worksheet completed.
Complete the 6P poster following the rubric guidelines.

Poster presentation (group or guest returning student)
Discovery Journal reflection question: “How have you used a 6P this week?”
