Senior Seminar: the credit where we address issues that underly our society but that we don't often get to dive into deeply in high school. There are six modules currently available; choose five to complete your credit.
Each module follows a similar pattern: learn about the topic through a variety of videos, articles, and podcasts; take notes while you learn; engage in a discussion about what you have learned; synthesize what you have learned through a DOK approach of your choosing.
The available modules can be taken independently or live. If you choose to complete one of these modules independently, check in with your advisor first to make a plan and schedule times to have discussions and check in.
**All the sources presented in these modules are provided for you to learn about the topic from multiple perspectives. You are not being asked to agree with the viewpoints shared, but rather to consider how the viewpoints presented align with your own beliefs - and to engage in a conversation where you are using various perspectives to deepen your own understanding and clarify your perspective.
