Suggested Supplies

Below is a list of suggested materials that students are recommended to bring to class (although not required):

Commonly Used Supplies List

Any student unable to supply these materials on their own will be provided with them (other than a Thermos). However, supplies are limited so please consider purchasing as many of these for your student as possible.

Crayons (Crayola 24 pack)
Colored Pencils (Crayola 12 or 24 pack)
Broad Tip Markers (Crayola 12 pack)
Fine Tip Markers (Crayola 12 pack)
Handheld Pencil Sharpener
- or Mechanical Pencils WITH additional lead
1 Folder to use as a "Keep at School" folder for unfinished work/papers to be kept at school.
Earbuds (Since students use eSpark and/or epic! apps daily, these help minimize distractions)
A Thermos or water bottle that seals easily to be kept in student lockers. Please no regular water bottles with twist on caps as they are a spilling hazard! No juices or any other beverages (flavored water is permitted) besides water as this will be strictly enforced.
Colored pens (for grammar and writing activities as well as self-correcting)
Glue Sticks (Class sets run out quickly, so please ensure your student has a few on-hand)
A chapter book (to assist with forming the habit of reading for pleasure silently during down time)
A lanyard so that their mask can hang from it like a necklace rather than risk being dropped or lost.
A daily snack -- one small food item and/or one small drink item ... this is intended to be something quick to enjoy while we are working and should not be more than one food and one drink item. This is not a meal!
- I appreciate help with snack donations (especially bottled water) to assist those who forget/cannot supply their own!
- I also accept donations of the above mentioned school supplies as well as sanitation products (disinfectant wipes, Kleenex, etc)
- Please refer to this following recommended list of snacks since our school has multiple peanut-free classrooms.

Peanut Free Snack List

Please read labels carefully to make sure that products are peanut free. This includes labels that read: Contains peanuts. May contain peanuts.
Please avoid Keebler, Austin and Lance Cracker Sandwich products, along with some other cracker sandwich products because some contain peanut flour even in the cheese crackers.
Please read labels when buying any products, as the label for allergens may change over time.
