Additional Grading Info

All Tests:

• A signature request will be marked on any student's assessment should they earn a D or an F on that test. These are to be reviewed and signed by the parent/guardian and returned the next day. This is to ensure the parent/guardian is receiving the test once it has been distributed in order and to acknowledge they have received/reviewed the assessment with their student at home.

Spelling pretests:

• Students who earn an A will keep their grade and will not have to complete a retake.

• Students who earn a B can choose whether to keep that score OR complete a retake to do better.

• Students who earn a C or below will be required to complete a retake the next day. A study exercise will be given as homework to promote further practice of the words.
