This is the naming convention that attendance clerks will use to place student emails into Infinite Campus when they enroll a new student. They are then supposed to put in a help ticket for you to actually create the email address. If you come across an account that cannot be created that way due to one already being in the system, you can add a middle initial or some other change to create the e-mail address, but you MUST let the attendance clerk know that the email address is not normal and they will have to change the IC entry for student e-mail.
