Yearly Licensing (currently funded by Board 100%)

1. Microsoft License $11534.60 per year forever (based on number of students)

2. Google Education Upgrade $9,900 per year forever (based on number of students)

3. Virtual Machine License $453.20 per year forever (based on number of virtual machines in service)

4. PDQ $1,050 per year forever (this is to deploy updates and installs district wide)

5. ThinkHelpDesk  $1025 per year forever

6. District/School Webpages and Messaging System (sendit)  $10,000 per year forever

7. Lightspeed MDM subscription License (For Apple Products) $6 per device per year

8. Lightspeed Classroom Management (For teachers to view screens) $2.50 per student so approx. $5,275 per year

1. Fiber Contract (approx $1450 per month at 80 percent discount)

   1. ATT contract Began July 1, 2022 for a term of 5 years

   2. 2 GB service at each site with a 10GB service at Hub Location

2. Wireless Access Points were Replaced 2019 with an average lifespan of 3 t o5 years ($1320.99 each)

3. Switches were Replaced in 2023 (February) with an average lifespan of 5 to 7 years  ($8033.99 each)

4. Fiber was Replaced (between MDF and IDF) in 2023 with an average lifespan of  20 and 40 years ($18,000)

HotSpot Networking Devices (currently funded by Board 100%)

1. Each hotspot is $90 to purchase

2. Each hotspot contract is $32 per month per device

Hosted Voice Phone System (Initial purchase by Board, transition to monthly bills based on number of devices to SBDM)

1. Initial Phone Handset Cost is $150 per phone device

2. Phone Line is $6 per line per month (each user gets a distinct line, so have more than one based on building assignments)

Cell Phone Service (Devices/services paid for by Building of Assignment)

1. Devices range from 99 cents to over a $1,000 each

2. Each cell contract is $45 per month

Chromebooks (Funding  Sources Varied)

1. 900 were purchased in 2023 with an average lifespan of 5 years ($250 each)

2. 450 were purchased in 2021 with an average lifespan of 5 years ($200 each)

  • 226 of which are either no longer updating or will stop updating by this year

• North Butler Elementary School- 490 (409 students)

  • 235 of which are either no longer updating or will stop updating by this year

• Learning Center - 38  (21 Students)

Virtual Machine (currently funded by Board 100%)

1. Storage array was replaced in 2023 with an average lifespan of 7 years ($8,000)

2. Processor Server was replaced in 2023 with an average lifespan of 7 years ($13,000)

3. Connectors for machine to function in our network ($10,000)

Food Service POS (Food service funded)

1. Surface Pro Units were purchased 2023 with an average lifespan of 5 years

2. Desktop POS machines (win 11) were purchased 2023 with an average lifespan of 7 to 10 years

Workstations (currently funded by Board 100%)

1. Admin Workstations

   1. Began Replacement of Attendance Clerk Machines 2023 with an average lifespan of 7 to 10 years

   2. Replacement of Principal/Asst Machines 2024 with an average lifespan of 7 to 10 years

   3. Replacement of Counselor Machines 2025 with an average lifespan of 7 to 10 years

   4. Remaining Office Machines 2025 with an average lifespan of 7 to 10 years

2. Teacher Workstations

   1. Dell Workstations purchase around 2015 for most teachers with an average lifespan of 7 to 10 years

   2. Conversion of Google OS in 2023  with a hopeful lifespan of 3 to 5 more years

Teacher Experience Accessories (currently funded by Board 100% except interactive displays)

1.   Document Cameras replaced as needed with an average life span of 3 to 5 years

2.   Projector

   1. Phased out of experience unless attached to working interactive board or teacher request with an average lifespan of 3 years

3. TV Display

   1. Replaced as needed with an average lifespan of 10 years

4. Interactive Display  (Funded by Departments who receive displays)

   1. As of 2023 in  all libraries, ELL and spec Ed rooms with an average lifespan of 10 years
