I believe it is safe to say that I am a performer and creator at heart. My whole life I have immersed myself in the fine arts whenever I had the chance or opportunity to do so. There was never a shortage of music in my childhood as it was always present in my home growing up. I watched as my parents and all of my older siblings invested their free time and energy into playing and performing instruments of their choice until I was old enough to do the same.

I learned my way around a piano, participated in community theatre, joined community choir, and played clarinet and trumpet through junior and senior high school. I obtained my Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta and began my teaching career in Elementary Music and Drama.

Over the past six years, I have taught at all grade levels at numerous locations around Alberta. I am ecstatic to be teaching Elementary Music, Art, and Junior/Senior Band at Provost Public School and sharing my love for music and passion for performance with Buffalo Trail Public Schools Division.
