Year 8 Humanities

The Humanities includes four interdisciplinary strands: Civics and Citizenship, Economics and Business, Geography and History. These four strands will be covered over the two year band of Years 7 and 8. It is a compulsory subject in Year 8. Humanities provides a framework for students to examine the complex processes that have shaped the modern world and to investigate responses to different challenges including people’s interconnections with the environment.
