VCE Health and Human Development (Units 1 and 2)

VCE Health and Human Development studies the concept of health and wellbeing, development across the human lifespan and considers the factors that promote optimal health and development.
Unit 1 - students focus on the dimensions of health and wellbeing, nutrition, and youth health and wellbeing.
Unit 2 - students focus on developmental transitions and Australia's health care system.

Concepts of health and wellbeing
Measurements and indicators of health status of Australia’s youth
Sociocultural factors affecting health status and behaviours of youth
Nutrition and youth health and wellbeing
Promoting youth health and wellbeing
Exploring mental disorders as a youth health and wellbeing issue
The human lifespan
Healthy and respectful relationships
Parenting and prenatal and early childhood development
Australia’s health system
Health information, technology and complaints
