Rules, strategies, and skills across a variety of team sports
The role of teamwork, communication, and leadership in sport
Understanding fair play, sportsmanship, and respectful relationships in competition
Sport Education model — player roles, team organisation, and season planning
How to prepare for and participate in competitive games and tournaments
Basic understanding of officiating, scoring, and game management
What Type of Work is Done?
Practical participation in team sports such as basketball, netball, soccer, AFL, and volleyball
Development of individual and team strategies through game play
Rotation through leadership roles including captain, coach, referee, and statistician
Keeping a season journal to track team progress, skill development, and reflections
Group planning and organisation of in-class competitions
Peer and self-assessment to reflect on performance and teamwork
