If you would like to develop your self-confidence through games and performances (both scripted and self-devised), then Drama is for you! In this class, you will have the opportunity to build your skills and knowledge about acting and performing in theatre by utilising the conventions of a range of theatre practitioners and developing polished performances to present to your peers and the wider community – and have a lot of fun in the process. Drama is also great for developing personal and social skills
Students may work up a performance as a small ensemble, or as a whole class, depending on student agency.

Future Pathways: Completion of Year 10 Drama will allow students to proceed to VCE Drama and Theatre Studies Unit 1-4. Drama study is beneficial for entering many careers in film, theatre and television – you only need watch the credits of your favourite film to see just how many jobs there are! The creativity, self confidence and collaborative skills you can develop through studying Drama can be beneficial in any work place.
