Our woodworking lab allows patrons a chance to learn about wooden projects that involve the use of power tools. Beginner classes cover the very basics of equipment and safety, measuring and cutting techniques, drilling and fastening, and finishing. In more advanced classes, you can contribute toward practical projects. Once you are familiar with the equipment and how to use it, attend one of our Open Makerspace hours to work on one of your own projects.
Working with power tools can be dangerous. Please make sure you are familiar with our policy for this lab.
