On Thursday 11/30 and Friday 12/1 in Baker Theater, Brunswick middle schoolers took the stage to perform the 2003 adventure/comedy Finding Nemo in a play version. Will Torterella starred as Nemo. The whole cast was made up of 7th and 8th graders from Brunswick and GA who did a fantastic job performing and the actors have a bright future in middle + high school musicals. Mr. Curry said “The high energy was amazing” and “It was a very impressive middle school production”. The play director Mr. Stamey said “Working with these talented young performers has been an absolute joy! Their dedication, enthusiasm, and remarkable growth throughout the production of Finding Nemo Jr have left me immensely proud. Witnessing their passion for the arts and their incredible teamwork has been a highlight of my career at Brunswick. These students brought the beloved characters of Finding Nemo to life and forged lasting friendships and memories that will undoubtedly stay with them forever". 

On Veteran’s Day, three teams from Brunswick went to a robotics competition in New Haven, Hill Regional Career High School. These three teams had been practicing on Mondays, Tuesdays, and/or Wednesdays. There were three major parts to the competition. The robot, the project, and the core values. Only one team moved on to states but each team was close.

On Saturday, December 10th team Ominous Moo from Brunswick went to Glastonbury for the state tournament. 40 teams came from all over the state. Only three teams moved on and Ominous Moo was sadly not one of them.
