On November 22, 2022, the 5th Grade and I went to the Wolf Conservation Center in Salem, New York. We got to see some of the 32 wolves living there. We saw Alawa & Nikai, the ambassador wolves. We learned about wolves & their habitat. We discovered that they can hear sounds that are 10 miles away! They can smell things up to 3 miles! And their paws are webbed, which allows them to swim well. They can run up to 35 miles per hour. Wolves eat deer, moose, bison, etc. A wolf consumes around 8 to 10 lbs of food per week. They weigh 80 to 120 lbs. We had lots of fun at the Wolf Conservation Center and learned tons of intriguing things.

The Brunswick Bruins took the field in Wallingford to face the Choate Wild Boars in the Mike Silipo Bowl. The Bruins started with a flying start scoring 20 points in the first half. After a Choate comeback Brunswick closed the door with a 42 yard touchdown in the final minute. Touchdowns came from a pick six, a long connection between Elijah Cromartie and senior WR Tomas Delgado and Bryce Davis. It was an outstanding season for the Bruins and GO WICK.
