Collaborative Projects

Collaborative projects that involve crowdsourcing recommendations and photos is a great way to engage your community.

Below are collaborative activities that can be implemented through social media channels to engage your alumni community.

First-year students Natali Feinstein, Mayo Saji and Josh Waldman laugh as they study on the Main Green while the leaves fall from the elms.

Quarantainment List

Brown alumni are always on the hunt for great books, movies, podcasts, recipes, family activities, etc. Why not give them a way of sharing their ideas on these topics? During this time of social distancing, create a quarantainment list and crowdsource ideas on various topics from your alumni community. Quarantainment lists are a great way of engaging people in a collaborative process that is reflective of the unique character of alumni in your class, region, or affinity group.

Collaborative Song Playlist

Listening to a long-forgotten song can transport us to particular moments in our lives and evoke the emotions we felt during that experience. Collaborating on a playlist is a fabulous way to invoke people’s memories of their time at Brown and/or a way to get people to work together on creating a unique themed soundtrack.
