SENATE WALKTHROUGH VIDEO  10.10

In the beginning of the year, the  SENATE EXECUTIVE BOARD  came together to create a walkthrough video for the virtual open house. This video is also featured and can be found on the official school website. 

Here, we toured the school's facilities, featuring the: dining hall, gym, science lab, and computer lab and more. This video is a great way for prospective and current students to better understand the TBLS culture, traditions, and spirit. 

The process of creating this video was a collaborative effort, requiring the input, commitment, leadership and creativity of the 8 members of the E-board. We held brainstorming sessions to decide on the key aspects of the school to feature, ensuring that each facility represented the essence of our community.  Each clip was rehearsed and perfected to ensure the video ran smoothly. The overall video reflected the positive and inclusive environment that every TBLS student takes part in. Planning involved carefully selecting locations, coordinating schedules, bringing hefty equipment and even lengthy time for scripting that capture the excitement of each space. Our talented President (Kielan Santos) worked diligently to capture high-quality footage, employing various angles and lighting techniques to bring the school to life. Editing the footage was an intricate process, involving the selection of the best clips, adding engaging background music, and incorporating text overlays that provide context and information(shout out to Kielan.)

Overall, this also marks the first project that the entire Student Senate Executive board carried out as a collective committee. This provided us a great chance to bond and better understand each other as an administrative team. We hope that this also leaves a good impression for the Student Senate and inspires you to join us in serving the community. In making this video we aimed to bring you the best experience and knowledge of TBLS. We anticipate that you like this video as much as we did and appreciate the hours of filming that brought this 3 minute video together. It not only showcases our impressive facilities but also encapsulates the heart and soul of our community. Watching this video is not just an informative experience; it is an invitation to become part of a thriving, dynamic environment where learning and friendships flourish.

As we say goodbye and thank you to the amazing term of our 23-24 Student Senate Executive Board, we hope that this video embarks on the first step of a lasting tradition that has been passed down for the last 8 years. 

It is our vision that this walkthrough video not only serves as a vibrant introduction for new students but also becomes a cherished resource for alumni, showcasing how our school evolves while remaining rooted in its core values. It is our goal this year to build upon what was left by Senate from the previous years and expand our initiative to more students. For the upcoming year we hope to involve more student voices in future productures, allowing a diverse range of perspectives to shine through. We want for the school life and spirit to not only be told by the 8 voices of Student Senate but also amplified by the entirity of the 800+ students housed within TBLS. This way we can deepen the narrative and provide a more holistic view of the TBLS experience. This ongoing journey will foster connection, celebrate our achievements, and inspire future generations to carry the torch of our rich traditions and spirited community forward.
