My priorities include fostering open communication between myself and the students to advocate for their ideas and concerns, providing accessible mental health resources for everyone, and organizing more engaging school events like dances, spirit days, and field trips to boost our school morale and pride. I believe that together, we can create a vibrant community for everyone. Your support is crucial in making this vision a reality. SARAH JOHNSON
Hello Titans, my name is Sarah Johnson. I ask you once more to consider me as a candidate for your Class I Senator! Upon reflection, I recognize that my previous term did not meet your expectations, and I apologize for not utilizing my platform to focus on our class's struggles. As we enter our final year at TBLS, my goal is to manage our foremost battle: the looming college application process. A key endeavor of mine is to transform morning meetings into extended conclave time for college prep, or catching up on work!
It is also important for our senior events to reflect the desires of our class. Implementing a system for student input—such as voting on the movies we will watch—along with increasing dress-down days, would ensure that our experiences are more meaningful and aligned with our interests.
Communication with faculty will also be paramount in my mission, advocating for a greater understanding of the pressures we face and encouraging work flexibility where needed.
With your support, we can make this year more manageable and memorable. Let’s work together to make it one that we can say we triumphantly completed! I ask you, let me be our pulse!
WILLY SANCHEZ
HE / HIMI'm running for TBLS senator because I believe in the power of everyones voice and the importance of being heard. I want to make a more inclusive school community, and I understand the various needs and desires of my classmates. My previous experience as a tribune has equipped me with the skills to listen, and advocate for change at a class level, but now I wish to do that for the entire school. I wish to hosts events such as dances for everyone, trips, spirit days and other activities that will boost our TBLS pride and the overall atmosphere for everyone at TBLS.
With strong communication skills and a passion for leadership, I am committed to helping bridge the gap between the students and the administration to cause actual change for the better. Together, we can create a school experience that meets all of our wishes for this community. I humbly ask for your support in this election so we can work together to make our school an even better place for all!
