My name is Bartholomea Baroi. As a senate, I plan on cooperating with our school management to incorporate community events such as valentines day flower and winter hot chocolate sales. In my previous school, I fulfilled my responsibilities as a president of the crew council. As a result, we raised funds through spirit weeks, casual dress-downs, etc. I aim to do the same this year.

As your senator, I will not make any false promises. However, I will do everything in my power to grant more funding to our clubs and create an environment for Class III discips that allows them to communicate more effectively with tribunes and senators to get the needs of their clubs across. I will provide Class III with a strong presence in the Senate meetings; I will work tirelessly to ensure that your voices are heard. I will secure more funding for our clubs by collaborating with local businesses and alumni as well as leveraging outside resources to provide the financial support we need. I will push for transparency and direct communication channels between Class III disciples, tribunes, and senators so that your concerns are heard and addressed swiftly. I will advocate for policies that make it easier for clubs to access resources, plan events, and grow their impact. My goal as your senator is to be an advocate for you who listens and takes action based on your feedback. Together we will create a more connected community in which every student’s voice matters.

Salve! I am Arihunt Garg and this year I am stepping up from a Class IV tribune to a Class III senator. I am running because my mind is filled up with tremendous ideas on how to make this school year special for us sophomores and will represent my classmates the most, as I love getting along with all of them. I can be described as hard-working, super funny, charismatic, and very sigma. My main goals are to have more stellar spirit days, create cool events such as a Brawl Stars tournament and a Holi festival, and plan an entertaining, free, and fantastic school dance. I love public speaking and I am really loud so as your senator, I will be the megaphone for any concerns, issues, or ideas yall have. 

As a senator for class three, I would have unique solutions that would help students be productive and stress-free. I may be a transfer at The Brooklyn Latin School, but in the month or so that I've been here I've worked my hardest to help my fellow students. Through @brooklynlatinopprotunities, I've provided anyone willing to click on my story with   internship, fellowship, and volunteer opportunities. Although I am proud of my work so far, I know that as a member of the student council I could do more. 

Here are some of my ideas:

Increase club funding through grant applications. 

Improve and expand the Teacher Assistant system at TBLS.

Create an environment where teachers are more understanding of classmates' struggles with outerwear- particularly in the Fall.

Add more owners to @brooklynlatinopprotunities.

Post more on the opportunities instagram and add potential scholarships to the account. 

More dress down days and fundraising opportunities within said days.

Grow the teaching and learning portion of student government to provide classmates with more test prep resources.

I am running for student senate because I believe in making sure that every discip at TBLS has a voice and is heard. I want to implement the changes that you want to see at this school, and I believe that I am the best person for the job. I have had leadership positions in the past and I know that I have the experience and am equipped with the right tools to make this year an amazing year for everyone! I stand for better funding for clubs and school events, I stand for better resources for everyone, but most importantly, I stand for you. If you want a representative who will fight for your interests and listen to your voices, I would be honored to have your vote as your class III representative!
