All Star Code AI Inquiry Weekend
The AI Inquiry Weekend Intensive is free, online, and built for students in grades 9-12. Two days of hands-on work: train your own model, study what the technology cannot do, and learn how to use it responsibility. The intensive will take place from April 25-26, and is online and free. Session times are TBD.

Seeds of Fortune Innovation Career & Venture Fellowship
The Innovation Career & Venture Fellowship is a year long hands-on experience where high school juniors explore college and careers in healthcare, law, entrepreneurship, or energy and sustainability while using AI to develop and pitch their own innovative business solutions to Fortune 500 companies to impact their communities. Scholars are matched with Fortune 500 partner companies in business and STEM fields, and can follow either the Career Track or the Venture Track. Participants will also have a full day Admissions Visit to NYU to learn about their college application process and special scholarship opportunities. The program begins in May 2026. Household income of $125,000 or less
Open to all genders and backgrounds

Ramapo Country Day Camp
Ramapo is seeking future educators to work with our campers. Being a summer camp counselor offers the opportunity to have instant impact on a child’s life while gaining invaluable experience for a future working with young minds. While being a camp counselor is a perfect fit for students looking to go into theater education, psychology, sociology, or the nursing fields, it is also a great opportunity for anyone who would enjoy working outside, making an immediate impact on a child’s life, and meeting peers who share their enthusiasm for camp. Camp will run from June 29-August 21, 9am-3:30pm. Bussing from Brooklyn to camp will be provided.

NYU Urban Journalism Workshop
The Urban Journalism Workshop at NYU is designed to develop the next generation of great journalists. Our mission is to equip high school students in the tri-state area with essential journalistic skills. The workshop is led by NYU journalism faculty and visiting professionals, who offer students hands-on training in reporting, news writing, and multimedia journalism. The program also includes site visits to major newsrooms (CNN, NYTimes, Bloomberg, VICE, ABC News) and the production of an online multimedia news site published on the last day of the workshop. The program runs from July 13-July 19.

Must be at least 16 years of age
Must live in the NYC metropolitan area

Hearst High School Media Internship
The Hearst High School media Internship at The Paley Center for Media is a 5-week, paid, best-in-class media-focused summer internship for rising 11th and 12th grade students. The program will encompass Media Literacy and Digital Learning, Media Career Development, and Mentorship. The internship offers students the opportunity to develop the knowledge, skills, and network necessary to prepare for college and to break into the media and entertainment industry. Interns will be paid $17/hour and will be reimbursed for travel expenses. The internship will run M-Th from July 6 through August 6, 10am-4pm.

Valid working papers upon commencement of the internship

Baruch College Stock Market Challenge
Be part of Baruch College's fourth annual High School Stock Market Challenge, hosted by Subotnick Financial Services Center of Baruch College. Participants will have the opportunity to experience hands-on stock trading in a simulated environment and receive instruction about how the stock market works. Students with the top performing stock portfolios receive prizes. All participants who complete the 5-week program receive certificates from Baruch. CUNY School of Medicine Health Professions Mentorship Program (HPMP)
The Health Professions Mentorship Program (HPMP) is for rising high school juniors thinking about a career in the health field. Careers like medicine, nursing, physician assistant, occupational therapy, public health, and research are possible with a college degree in basic or biomedical sciences, social sciences, or specialized health sciences. HPMP requires a 2-year commitment and includes two 4-week summer sessions following your sophomore and junior years of high school and monthly Saturday sessions. Students will conduct a community based project in which they will take part in recognizing challenges and developing solutions to health care problems in NYC. The summer portion of the program is during the entirety of July 2026. Full attendance is mandatory

Girls Who Code
Girls Who Code is excited to offer Pathways this summer from Monday, June 29 through Friday, August 14. This 7-week program is a free, flexible online learning opportunity for students who want to learn coding at their own pace. Participants will be able to explore coursework in 5 tracks: Data Science + AI, Game Design, Web Development, Cybersecurity, and AI + Society. Students will also gain real-world insights through virtual Partner Events with leading tech organizations.

Bee U's Urban Beekeeping Fellowship (UBF)
Bee U's Urban Beekeeping Fellowship is a paid program for youth aged 16-24 to gain hands-on training in beekeeping, leadership, and environmental advocacy. Urban Beekeeping Fellows learn basic skills of beekeeping, dive deep into contemporary environmental issues in their neighborhoods, and learn about career pathways to green jobs. Bee U NYC is dedicated to diversifying the green jobs industry. While we intentionally select a diverse set of participants, applicants who are underrepresented in the green jobs industry will be prioritized. There are 3 cohorts: Staten Island, Brooklyn & Bronx. Cohort Brooklyn takes place at the Weeksvile Heritage Center (158 Buffalo Ave) Saturdays starting May 30 through August 15. Participants will receive a stipend for their participation in the program, which includes a transportation stipend.

UFT 2026 Summer Internship Program
The UFT Summer Internship Program gives high school students the opportunity to work alongside UFT staff and gain hands on experience in labor, education, communications, IT, public service, and nonprofit operations while supporting projects that serve educators and public education across NYC. The program will run from July 13 through August 13.

2026 Summer Careers Exploration Program
The China Aids Fund's Summer Careers Exploration Program offers students the chance to explore careers in healthcare, politics, law, finance, and government, providing guidance and opportunities for personal and professional development. Our confirmed partners include: New York-Presbyterian Queens Hospital, Dr. Vincent Wang Wellness Center, Summit Associates Law Firm, Mount Sinai Research Laboratory, & Sandra Ung's Political Office. The internship will run from July 6-August 14, and students will receive a $1,200 stipend for completing the 100-hour minimum. Top performers may be eligible for an additional $3,000 scholarship award.

Turn Up Activism Remote Internship
TurnUp Activism is a progressive non-profit organization dedicates to making our nation more just, fair, and equitable for all by increasing youth activism and civic engagement to strengthen our democracy. Interns work in remote teams of mission-driven young people from around the country to help amplify youth civic engagement and participate in activism on many progressive/social justice issues including climate change, racial justice, reproductive rights, ending gun violence, and combating voter suppression. New interns start at the beginning of each month and are asked to work between 5-30 hours/week.

ACE Mentor Program (Architecture, Construction, Engineering)
The ACE Mentor Program of Greater NY is a free after-school mentorship program to introduce high school students to careers in architecture, engineering, and construction management. Mentors lead students through their career pathways, introduce them to foundational knowledge of their industry, and teach students to use design software that they use in their everyday jobs. After the basics, the team works on a mock design project of their choosing to apply what they learned to a real-life situation, and they present the project in the Spring to other teams, ACE GNY staff, and industry leaders. ACE GNY is a free, full year program running from November through May.

Currently in grade 9-12
No prior experience in architecture, engineering, or construction management required

All Stars Project Inc. Youth Programs
In the Development School for Youth (DSY), young people ages 16-21 learn to perform as professionals, and they partner with business leaders across the country who conduct development workshops and provide paid summer internships at their companies. Workshops and trainings include resume-writing, networking, public speaking, and dressing professionally. Program graduates are then placed in summer internships where they continue to develop their leadership and professional skills and connect to the world of success. Participating companies include: JPMorgan Chase, EY, MetLife, Paramount Global, and RBC Capital Markets.

Become a Student Pollworker!
The NYC Board of Elections is looking for pollworkers! Poll workers are required to attend a four hour training class; classes are available on Saturdays and Sundays at each borough office. You will be paid $100 for attending the class, passing the exam, as well as working one election event. On Election Day, if you are working the full day, report to your assigned polling place at 5:00am and work until the polls close, you will be paid $250 for the full day. If you are assigned to the peak hour assistance shift, report to your assigned polling place at 3:00pm and work until the polling place closes, you will be paid $125.

Be 17 years old by Election Day and get permission from a school official and parent/guardian
Be a U.S. citizen
Bilingual students fluent in Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Hindi, and Bengali are encouraged to apply
