The Common Application is accepted by over 900 colleges and universities, and many of these will only accept this application. As you add colleges to your "My Colleges" list in the Common App, be sure to review the application information and any supplemental essays required. Application fees vary by school.Â
The Common Black College Application allows students to apply to multiple HBCUs for one $20 fee. Of the 107 HBCUs across the United States, 68 of these schools accept the CBCA. Fee waivers are not offered for the CBCA since the application allows you to apply to all 68 schools.
Fee waivers can be provided to help cover the cost of college applications. If you qualify for free or reduced lunch, you automatically qualify for a fee waiver. You must fill out the lunch form in order to receive the fee waiver. See Ms. Novick to obtain a waiver.
