If you have experienced or witnessed bullying, harassment, sexual misconduct, discrimination or victimisation, there is support available and you can report it to us with or without your contact details.
You can report an incident online with your contact details or anonymously. If you provide your contact details, the Student Welfare Team will contact you within 3 working days.

Student Welfare and Support Advice Team
We offer support to students in crisis or if you are experiencing serious circumstances that are affecting your studies. We offer short-term emotional and practical support, including signposting to other services, with the aim of enabling you to find ways of managing the situation and moving forward. We will listen, explore options with you, talk with you about strategies that might be helpful, and make sure you know about other services that could be useful.

If you are on or around campus and need immediate assistance, contact Oxford Brookes Security Services via its new number of 01865 60 3060.

The Mental Health Advice Team supports students living with ongoing mental health challenges that meet the Equality Act definition of a disability (a diagnosed condition that has a substantial long-term impact on your life and studies).

The Inclusive Support Service provides advice and support for disabled students. This includes specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia, dyspraxia/DCD, attention deficit disorder and dyscalculia, autistic spectrum conditions and long-term physical and mental health conditions.
Independent Sexual Violence Adviser
The Brookes University ISVA, Tasha, works alongside the Student Welfare and Support Advice team. Tasha is employed by Survivor Space Oxfordshire (SSO) and is seconded to the University to exclusively support students. Tasha is completely independent from the University and any other agencies and will tailor her support according to your needs. Tasha is the expert on all matters of the criminal justice process and is able to support students through this process.

The Multifaith Chaplaincy offers spiritual and pastoral care for the University community. We offer a range of events, including regular worship and religious services and social events. We are open to students and staff from any background, of any identity, and any faith or none.

International Student Advice Team (ISAT)
The International Student Advice Team (ISAT) is here to help with a range of services and friendly advice if you're an international student studying at Oxford Brookes University. We are the only team trained and regulated to give immigration advice under the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner guidelines.
We provide events and workshops to help you understand UK culture and make the most of your time in the UK.
