Electrical Equipment (P.A.T Testing)

The University will test University electrical equipment annually.

It is the responsibility of the students to ensure that their personal equipment is in a safe condition.

Electrical Equipment which is deemed to be unsafe by the University will be removed immediately from kitchens or rooms when identified in kitchen checks or health and safety checks. Where equipment is not deemed to be an immediate risk but is still considered unsafe, residents will be given notice to remove the equipment.

Where you suspect University electrical equipment to be unsafe immediately stop using the equipment and inform your Hall Office or Warden Team.
