Our academic calendar is adapted around the British school holidays and the local Málaga holidays. Generally, we follow the local calendar except for certain days.

The school year starts at the beginning of September and finishes at the end of June with the exact dates varying slightly each year. We observe the local holidays (Christmas, Semana Blanca in February etc.).

The year is divided into three terms: 

• the first is September to Christmas

• the second from January to Easter 

• the third from Easter Monday until the summer holidays at the end of June

We also have a short break mid term usually consisting of one or two non-teaching days to recharge our batteries.  Half-term breaks incorporate the November Bank Holiday weekend (1st November) during the first term, Semana Blanca (February) during the second term and May Day in the third term.

El calendario escolar de nuestro colegio se adapta al mismo tiempo a los hábitos escolares británicos y el calendario local de Málaga. En general, seguimos el calendario escolar local salvo por algunos días puntuales.

El curso arranca a principios de Septiembre y termina a finales de Junio, variando lógicamente el día exacto cada año según corresponda. Nuestro calendario escolar respeta los festivos y las vacaciones locales (Navidad, Semana Blanca en Febrero, etc).

El curso se divide en 3 trimestres: 

• el primero de Septiembre a Navidad

• el segundo desde Enero hasta Semana Santa 

• el tercero tras el Lunes de Pascua hasta las vacaciones de verano

Asimismo, marcamos el «Half Term» británico, o un pequeño descanso a mitad de trimestre. Se trata de una o varias jornadas no docentes que sirven de engranaje metodológico y que ayudan al buen rendimiento. Los periodos de Half Term son el puente de Todos los Santos (primer trimestre), la Semana Blanca (segundo trimestre) y un día de Mayo (tercer trimestre).
