The Department of Science and Technology - Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development (DOST-PCIEERD) along with scientists unified their efforts to combat the COVID 19 pandemic, these efforts were presented in the webinar series entitled, “COVID and Global Filipinos: Filipino Scientists/Engineers Here and Abroad and Their Contribution to COVID Mitigation/Effort”.
Four trainees of the Additive Manufacturing Research Laboratory (AMReL) who were recipients of Department of Science and Technology - Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development (DOST-PCIEERD) scholarship grant to study at AMREL shared their knowledge on the basics of 3D printing in the webinar entitled, “Additive Manufacturing Basics”.

The Kanlungan ng Pag-asa ANCOP Bani Community in Cataning, Balanga City is a housing project of Couples for Christ (CFC) from different countries namely Texas, United States of America, United Arab Emirates and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The community is surrounded by agricultural farm mostly for rice production, and most of the residents are farmers. Donations were used to provide homes for families that have insufficient income to provide their own house.
