BPSU MAIN CAMPUS COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY
PROJECT PAGUNLAD stands for Providing Technical Assistance and Grant from the UNiversity for Local All-Inclusive Development.
This training will help the adopted barangay to empower themselves in eradicating poverty by equipping them with employable skills duly certified with Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) National Certification II and I (NC-II and NC-I) and creating additional small-enterprise as an outcome for each extension program.
Specifically, the program aims to:
1. Train participants on specific skills that will be beneficial for them to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes towards work.
2. Train 30 male and female beneficiaries in each skill qualification in the barangay.
3. To encourage members to grow professionally and technically.
4. To create additional small-enterprise as an outcome for each extension program.

The Housekeeping Training leading to NCII project of the CTEC Project PAGUNLAD has been launched today at the Barangay hall of Imelda, Samal, Bataan.
Present in the program were Dr. Ariel Bongco, dean of College of Technology, Dr. Edmond Camingal, program Leader, Prof. Gaudia, housekeeping trainer, Dr. Bernadeth B. Gabor, ETSO Director, Mr, Nomer N. Varua, ETSO Chair, and Councilor ___________.
Also present in the program are the participants for the said training. The two-week training will commence the next day, may 13 until May 27.
BPSU and Barangay Imelda signed a memorandum of Agreement for the project last April 25 at the BPSU Main Campus.

Imelda is a barangay in the municipality of Samal, in the province of Bataan. Its population as determined by the 2020 Census was 3,058. This represented 7.98% of the total population of Samal.
The household population of Imelda in the 2015 Census was 2,665 broken down into 602 households or an average of 4.43 members per household. According to the 2015 Census, the age group with the highest population in Imelda is 5 to 9, with 346 individuals. Conversely, the age group with the lowest population is 80 and over, with 14 individuals.
