Our Vision

The History curriculum at Bowland High is structured to nurture a love of History and to develop students’ abilities to understand and have knowledge of the History of Britain and the wider world. The curriculum is focused on the development of key historical skills and a depth of knowledge that is sequenced in a chronological narrative of change and continuity. History is all around us and the study of history ignites pupil’s curiosity about the past in Britain and the wider world.
