How do I transfer funds?
To request a transfer of funds within your school’s student activity account:
- Submit the transfer request form, which includes a required justification for the request.
- Allow at least 5 business days for the transfer to be reflected in BAIS Financials.
Note: Please remember to use the correct codes for PROGRAM* and CLASS** when entering a transfer request.

Examples of acceptable transfers of funds include:
- Funds were mistakenly deposited in [PROGRAM, CLASS], but were to be used for [student activity], so they need to be moved to the correct Program/Class, which is [PROGRAM, CLASS].
- EXAMPLE: "These funds were mistakenly deposited into CLUBS, 0000, but were to be used for the 12th grade prom, so they need to be moved to the correct Program/Class, which is SOCAL, BPS12."
- Funds were mistakenly deposited into [PROGRAM, CLASS] instead of the correct Program, which is [PROGRAM], so they need to be moved to [PROGRAM, CLASS].
- EXAMPLE: "These funds were mistakenly deposited into FLDTR, BPS08 instead of the correct Program, which is EVENT, so they need to be moved to EVENT, BPS08."
- Funds were mistakenly deposited into [PROGRAM, CLASS] instead of the correct Class, which is [CLASS], so they need to be moved to [PROGRAM, CLASS].
- EXAMPLE: "These funds were mistakenly deposited into STORE, 0000 instead of the Class, which is BPS10, so they need to be moved to STORE, BPS10."
- Our school has excess funds in [PROGRAM, CLASS] and would like to use those excess funds for [student activity], so they need to be moved to [PROGRAM, CLASS].
- EXAMPLE: "Our school has excess funds in EVENT, 0000 and would like to use those excess funds for a school-wide field trip, so they need to be moved to FLDTR, 0000."
- Our school earned [$x] in interest that was placed in the SNDRY, 0000 line per the student activity policy. Our school would like to use these funds for [student activity], so they need to be moved to [PROGRAM, CLASS].
- EXAMPLE: "Our school earned $15.17 in interest that was placed in the SNDRY, 0000 line per the student activity policy. Our school would like to use these funds for our 5th grade moving up ceremony, so they need to be moved to EVENT, BPS05."
- Our school didn’t fill out the revenue breakdown form, so the funds were placed into SNDRY, 0000. Our school [raised or collected] these funds for [student activity], so these funds need to be moved to [PROGRAM, CLASS].
- EXAMPLE: “Our school didn’t fill out the revenue breakdown form, so these funds were placed into SNDRY, 0000. Our school collected these funds for the end of year cookout, so these funds need to be moved to SOCAL, 0000.
- Original purpose of these funds was unknown, so initially deposited into SNDRY, 0000 during the migration to the new business process. Our school would now like to use these funds for [student activity], so these funds need to be moved to [PROGRAM, CLASS].
- EXAMPLE: "The original purpose of these funds was unknown, so initially deposited into SNDRY, 0000 during the migration to the new business process. Our school would now like to use these funds for a K1 field trip, so these funds need to be moved to FLDTR, BPSK1."
