Backup documentation is required for all operational expenses (Travel, Supplies, Equipment, Contractual, or Other). Under the GJMBC grant, equipment over $5,000/unit must first be approved by the EDA. Please reach out to Sayyida sayyida.jean-charles@boston.gov prior to requesting approval for an equipment purchase.
Deadline for advance requests and reimbursements: Second Friday after the quarter ends (submission months are January, April, July, and October) unless otherwise negotiated. Exact deadlines are kept up to date on our Calendar page.

Quarterly Training Provider Data Collection Instrument due Second Friday of January, April, July, and October
***All training providers and Unite Us-funded partners are required to submit quarterly data reports through the Salesforce Reporting portal, even if there are no participants to report***
Log in to the Salesforce Reporting Portal with your Provider ID (reach out to Jada Burs jada.burs@boston.gov if you need your login information)
Navigate to the Institutional Information tab and fill out program information for all GJMBC-funded programs
Navigate to the Participant Data or Upload tab to input new participants or update active participants. Please update active participants every quarter. If you are unsure which participants you still need to report, please reach out to Abigail Cross abigail.cross@boston.gov
Navigate to the Aggregate Data tab and complete the form for each program

Semiannual Progress Report due second Friday (third Friday for BBOs) of April and October
All training providers and Unite Us-funded partners are required to submit progress reports to their respective Backbone Organization or to OWD
If submitted your progress report to OWD, please submit it through your subawardee folder (GJMBC-SBA_YOUR ORGANIZATION). BBOs should submit progress reports to the appropriate sector's progress report folder shared separately.
Semiannual BBO Questionnaire due second Friday of January and July
Only Backbone Organizations are required to submit this questionnaire
Please make a copy of your previous submission in your designated foler (GJMBC-FR-YOUR ORGANIZATION_BBO Questionnaire) and ensure all information is accurate for the previous six months.
OWD monitors subrecipients on a regular basis to ensure compliance with federal guidelines and to better understand program successes, challenges, and technical assistance opportunities.
